Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Frailty Team

Location: Dumfries, UK
Salary: £31 per hour umbrella

Contract Type: Ongoing, Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a Frailty Team in Dumfries. This ongoing, full-time locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £31 per hour and the opportunity to develop your expertise in frailty services within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

You will contribute to enhancing patient experiences across front door, care of the elderly (COE), and Frailty pathways, while collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert occupational therapy services as part of the Frailty team.

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised treatment programmes for patients.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to patient needs.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards.

  • Engage in continuous professional development and support the training and mentoring of junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of NHS experience
