We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Women’s, Children’s and Neonatal Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis. Please see details of the role below:

Role Details
• Role: Band 8a Women’s, Children’s and Neonatal Pharmacist
• Days: 4 days per week
• Hours: 8.45am to 5pm
• Pay: £36ph
• Start: From 19 February 2026
• Length: Maternity cover
• This role will involve providing specialist clinical pharmacy services to women’s, children’s and neonatal wards. You will oversee junior pharmacists on rotation and contribute to governance work within the specialty.
• The post holder will support safe and effective medicines optimisation, deliver expert clinical advice, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the service.

Requirements
• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Experience within women’s, paediatrics or neonatal pharmacy
• Experience supervising or supporting junior pharmacists
• Strong governance and clinical skills
