We are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to work on a temporary basis in Kent. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
• Role: Band 5 Pharmacy Technician
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5.30pm with one hour lunch
• Pay: £20ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Ongoing
• This role will involve undertaking medicines reconciliations on hospital wards, supporting accuracy checking duties, conducting controlled drug audits, and providing patient counselling.
• Cross site cover is required. The successful candidate must have experience completing ward based medicines reconciliations. ACPT qualification would be desirable.
Requirements
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Right to Work in the UK
• GPhC registration
• Proven ward based medicines reconciliation experience essential
• ACPT qualification desirable
• Experience with controlled drug audits and patient counselling
