We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in Margate. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
• Role: Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist – Emergency Department
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Pay: £30ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: End of March, potential to extend
• This role will involve providing advanced clinical pharmacy support within the Emergency Department. The post holder will manage complex patients, support pharmacy technicians within the department, and contribute to specialist policy development.
• You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver consistent and effective medicines optimisation, attend governance and medication safety meetings, and contribute to core pharmacy services including dispensary cover, extended hours support on the acute medical floor, and participation in on call where required.
Requirements
• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Strong Emergency Department or acute medicine experience
• Experience managing complex patients
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to contribute to core pharmacy services
