Job Title: Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential

Salary: £29,200 – £30,400 per annum + additional £3,000–£8,000 per year from sleep-ins
Hours: 39 hours per week
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence required

Role Overview:
A fantastic opportunity is available for a Senior Support Worker to join a residential children’s service based in Holbeach. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in the care sector who is ready to take on a leadership position, providing meaningful support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, providing guidance and mentorship to support workers within the team.
- Deliver high-quality, therapeutic care that meets the individual needs of each young person.
- Support children with their daily routines, personal development, and social engagement.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that promotes recovery, stability, and growth.
- Act as a positive role model and build trusted relationships with young people and colleagues.
- Support in creating and implementing individual care plans.
- Ensure all documentation and records are completed to regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team and external professionals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a residential or care setting.
- Naturally caring, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting young people.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is preferred – applicants without it must be willing to work towards the qualification.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to location and role requirements.
