We are currently recruiting for a Senior Therapeutic Radiographer, to work on a permanent basis in Windsor. Please see details of the role below;
Details:
• Role: Senior Therapeutic Radiographer
• Days: Monday–Friday
• Hours: Full Time, 37.5 per week
• Pay: £50,800 per year
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Permanent
Role Summary:
Support all aspects of the radiotherapy pathway for patients receiving external beam radiotherapy and assist the Lead Therapy Radiographer/Centre Lead with leadership, quality assurance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, effective radiotherapy in line with professional, regulatory, and local standards.
• Operate equipment according to radiation legislation, QA, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in clinical audit, service improvement, and governance activities.
• Support investigation and management of incidents, complaints, and compliments.
• Uphold Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Support service continuity, including occasional out-of-hours working.
• Mentor and support junior radiographers.
Key Working Relationships:
Internal: Radiographers, Dosimetrists, Physicists, Nurses
External: Partner organisations, service providers, stakeholders
Experience and Skills:
• Post-qualification experience as a Therapy Radiographer
• Strong understanding of UK radiotherapy practice
• Experience across pre-treatment, treatment delivery, and QA
• Patient-centered, compassionate approach to care
• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff
Qualifications and Knowledge:
• DCR(T) or BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy (or equivalent)
• HCPC registration
• Evidence of ongoing CPD
Quality, Safety & Health:
• Uphold quality and safety responsibilities relevant to the role
• Identify and mitigate risks and hazards
• Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements
Requirements:
• NHS experience (6 months minimum)
• Right to Work in the UK
• HCPC Registration
