Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Care
Location: 20 minutes west of Lincoln (exact location provided upon shortlisting)
Salary: £33,117 - £41,581 (dependent on experience & contracted hours)
Contract Options: 39 or 45 hours per week

We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a well-established, Ofsted-registered children’s residential home that provides therapeutic care for young people with complex emotional and behavioral needs. Ideal Candidate:
- Compassionate, resilient, and a natural leader
- Experienced in children’s residential care with strong leadership skills
- Skilled in behavior management, safeguarding, and Ofsted compliance
- Flexible to work shifts, including sleep-ins as required
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in daily operations and staff supervision
- Promote a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for young people
- Ensure compliance with care standards, policies, and legislation
- Mentor and develop staff to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care
- Build trusting relationships with young people, families, and professionals
