We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Locum Pharmacist to work within a Cancer Centre on a temporary basis in Staffordshire. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
• Role: Band 8a Locum Pharmacist – Cancer Services
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Ideally 9am – 5pm (once established, rota may include 8am – 4pm or 10am – 6pm)
• Pay: £36ph (Band 8a, with potential Band 8b (£43ph) for highly experienced candidates)
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Ongoing
• This role will involve working onsite within a cancer centre, supporting oncology services by triaging patient prescriptions and working with the electronic prescribing system. The post requires onsite working only and may involve working across multiple sites within the area. You will be part of a specialist team delivering safe, effective, and timely pharmacy support to oncology patients.
Requirements
• GPhC registered Pharmacist
• Minimum of 2 years experience working within a hospital pharmacy cancer centre
• Strong oncology clinical experience
• Confident using electronic prescribing systems
• Ability to work onsite and across sites when required
• BOPA passport desirable but not essential
