We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Oncology and Haematology Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in North London. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
• Role: Band 8a Oncology and Haematology Pharmacist
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Pay: £35ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: 3 months
• This role will involve providing specialist clinical pharmacy support within oncology and haematology services. Duties include clinical screening of chemotherapy prescriptions, medicines optimisation, and supporting safe and effective cancer treatment pathways.
• The post holder will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality care across oncology and haematology services, ensuring safe prescribing and monitoring of high risk therapies.
Requirements
• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Oncology and haematology pharmacy experience essential
• SACT passport required
• Experience screening chemotherapy prescriptions essential
• Strong clinical screening and medicines optimisation skills
