We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in Essex. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
• Role: Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Pay: £36ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: 1 month rolling contract
• This role will involve providing senior clinical pharmacy support across inpatient wards. Duties include medicines reconciliation, clinical screening of inpatient and discharge prescriptions, and supporting safe and effective prescribing.
• You will work closely with ward teams to ensure discharge medications are prepared in line with patient discharge timings, record clinical interventions, and support monitoring of high cost drug prescribing.
Requirements
• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Strong ward based clinical experience
• Experience with medicines reconciliation and clinical screening
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
