We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 or 8a Clinical Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in South West London and Surrey. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
• Role: Band 7 or 8a Clinical Pharmacist
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Pay: Band 7 £33.71ph Band 8a £40ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Until April 2026
• This role provides a high quality, patient centred clinical pharmacy service across a range of specialties. You will deliver expert pharmaceutical care, medicines optimisation, and evidence based advice to patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams. Duties include medicines reconciliation, prescription screening, supporting safe and cost effective prescribing, facilitating timely discharge, and ensuring seamless transfer of care across sectors.
• You will also contribute to clinical governance, support the development of guidelines, supervise trainee pharmacists and Band 6 pharmacists, participate in audits and quality improvement activity, and work closely with rotation leads to enhance pharmacy services.
Requirements
• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Strong ward based clinical experience
• Confident with medicines reconciliation and clinical screening
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
