We are currently recruiting for a Principal Pharmacy Technician to work on a temporary basis in South West London and Surrey. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
• Role: Band 6 or 7 Principal Pharmacy Technician
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 29.83 hours per week
• Pay: Band 6 £29.52ph Band 7 £32.71ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Until 27 March 2026
• This role will involve providing senior level support within pharmacy procurement and distribution services. Duties include overseeing purchasing, stock control, and distribution processes, supporting automation systems, and contributing to financial governance and medicines optimisation.
• The post holder will provide leadership to procurement and stores teams, support training and development of staff, and ensure compliance with legislative and best practice standards. Cross site working is required.
Requirements
• GPhC registration
• Significant hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience within procurement, distribution, or stock control services
• Supervisory or team leadership experience desirable
• Strong IT and system knowledge
