We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Pharmacy Technician to work on an ongoing basis in Liverpool. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
• Role: Band 6 Pharmacy Technician
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am – 5pm
• Pay: £26ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Ongoing
• This role will involve supporting governance and medicines management processes within pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal mechanisms governing medicines use and experience in developing, implementing, and auditing patient group directions. You will apply critical thinking to ensure compliance, work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure practice aligns with policies, and support safe use of PGDs across the organisation. Strong IT skills and the ability to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines are essential.
Requirements
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Right to Work in the UK
• GPhC registration
• Experience with patient group directions and governance processes essential
• Strong IT and problem solving skills
