We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician to work on an ongoing basis in South London. Please see details of the role below:
Role Details
• Role: Band 6 Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5.15pm (45 minute lunch break)
• Pay: £30ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Until February 2026
• This role will involve managing and maintaining pharmacy clinical trials in collaboration with the clinical trials pharmacist and technician team. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with ICH GCP, research governance, the EU clinical trials directive, and all relevant policies. You will write clear SOPs for new trials covering dispensing, accuracy checking, and procurement of investigational medicines, as well as oversee stock control, storage, returns, and reconciliation. The role also includes supporting dispensary services as an accredited checking technician when required.
Requirements
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Right to Work in the UK
• GPhC registration
• Experience working within a hospital clinical trials service
• Current GCP certificate essential
