We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist Medical Wards and Speciality Work to work on a temporary basis in Bedfordshire. Please see details of the role below:

Role Details
• Role: Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist Medical Wards and Speciality Work Respiratory and Diabetes
• Days: Monday to Friday open to part time
• Hours: 8.30am to 5pm
• Pay: £36ph
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Ongoing
• This role will involve providing specialist clinical pharmacy support across medical wards with a focus on respiratory and diabetes services. Duties include medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, patient counselling, and supporting safe and effective prescribing within specialist areas.
• The post holder will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support medicines optimisation and deliver high quality patient care across inpatient services.

Requirements
• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Strong ward based clinical pharmacy experience
• Experience within respiratory and diabetes services desirable
• Excellent clinical screening and medicines optimisation skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
