We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to work on a locum basis in the East Midlands. Please see details of the role below:
Role: Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist – Acute Medical
Days: Monday–Friday
Hours: Full time
Pay: £25 per hour
Start: ASAP
Length: Ongoing
Additional Info:
This role is based within acute medical wards, supporting adult patients with a range of communication and swallowing needs.
You will be working within a multidisciplinary team, delivering assessments and interventions in a busy acute setting, helping to support patient recovery and discharge planning.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration
- Right to Work in the UK
- Previous NHS experience
- Acute Speech and Language Therapy experience
- Dysphagia competency (essential)
- Ability to manage an adult caseload independently
- Strong MDT working and communication skills
