Yvette Cleland

Yvette’s career started with eight transformative years in the pharmaceutical industry before moving across to life sciences staffing 24 years ago. In 2012, Yvette joined Clinical Professionals to scale the business for acquisition, stimulate robust growth, and diversify its brand portfolio. After a successful acquisition by Cpl Resources PLC, Yvette was honoured to be recognised for two years by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) as one of the top 50 most powerful women in staffing globally. Yvette sees her career as a diverse role primarily focused on the people, company and industry she serves from both a life science and staffing perspective. She has been honoured in serving Apsco on the representative committee, where she values the opportunity to “give back” to an industry she is passionate about. In her daily work within staffing, she works with boundless energy using her influence to understand the complexities and challenges unique to life sciences staffing and deliver innovative solutions. A key personal driver is her focus on life sciences stakeholders regarding the urgent "wake up call" the sector faces in addressing its growing skills gaps. She has been an integral player in government trailblazers in degree base apprenticeships to ensure young people from financially diverse backgrounds gain a foothold in industry.
